“great space for our family getaway. easy walk to public beach access, easy walk to restaurants, coffee, and ice cream. home was comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. especially enjoyed the pool, hot tub, putting green and pool table. super quiet neighborhood with hardly any traffic. loved it.”

“Really got a great experience here! Loved the view from the deck - you are essentially ocean front! Steps to the beach access, and made it easy to catch the sunrise every day. Great pool and hot tub, kitchen supplies provided were an extra perk, the whole house was very clean. We recommend this house for a great OBX vacation!”

“Unfortunately, the property felt much more dated than the listing photos. There were pet stains on the living room rug, the poolside TV did not work, patio furniture was scattered, the outdoor shower was dirty, and only about 30% of the windows functioned. Before arriving, I specifically asked if the hot tub would be operational and was assured it would be. Upon arrival, we learned the motor was blown and the hot tub was unusable for our entire stay. The pool’s well pump was also broken when we arrived, making the pool unavailable for about the first day. We experienced multiple vendor visits each day of our stay, with little to no-notice, including landscapers blocking the driveway on Saturday morning. A vendor also mentioned preparations were being rushed for more important guests arriving after us, which felt unprofessional. For what we paid for four nights, we expected the property and amenities to better match what was advertise”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic - the house is near some great restaurants and the quick walk across the street to the beach was super convenient. It’s on a dead end street so our strip of the beach seemed less busy than we’re used to in the OBX. Definitely bring your own cookware and it would be great if the screened porch doors closed and latched, they were rusty and broken. The play area below the deck was fun for the kids but needed cleaned up from previous guest(s). Besides some maintenance, the space was great for our kids and dog.”
