“The house was cozy, clean, and just as described. It was about a 10-minute walk to the beach (or 1 minute by car), which was very convenient. Overall, the stay was nice, but a few essentials could be improved. There was no dishwasher, and although hand soap was provided in a sealed bar, bar soap isn’t very hygienic since multiple guests may use it — liquid soap would be a better option. Dish liquid was provided but in a very small amount, and there was no sponge for washing dishes, which made cleaning up harder. There were also no extra paper towels or toilet paper, and body wash was not provided at all. The house also shook a bit at times, almost like a light vibration. On the positive side, the owner was very kind and accommodating — when we asked to check out two hours later than scheduled, he happily agreed. We had a great time with my family.”

“The location can not be beat. A couple minute walk to the beach. Right in the heart of everything we love to do in the OBX. We are regular Airbnb guests and this was the first time I felt underwhelming. I did not realize when booking that it was through a company, not a “host.” All of the comforts were not provided. No beach chairs, no beach towels, no coffee or tea. No cleaning supplies. Only two rolls of toilet paper! The house was fine if you are not looking for those things. We just have grown accustomed to them. We had to pack so much more than we usually do for an OBX get away.”

“A huge thank you to Atlantic! The stay was amazing. The house was exactly what we wanted for a beach trip. Close enough to walk to the beach, house was cozy and had enough space for our family. We will definitely book again next year. I believe we have found our stay for our yearly trips.”

“Absolutely perfect, they even reached out and let us check in early without a fee. Had plenty of space for 6 people and close to a lot of stuff but still private and peaceful”
