“One of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. The house is a beautiful mid century style mountain house apparently built in 1979 that has been both preserved and modernized. The spacious upper-level deck was one of the best features, with the sun setting perfectly in alignment in early July when we were there. It’s the last house on a mountainside, surrounded by lush forest but with a view of the distant mountains directly ahead. Lots of open floor plan space in the upper main level of the house, complete with skylights in the ceiling and many sliding glass doors to access the deck or let breeze through the screens. The master bedroom suite in the top level was exquisite, and the lower level of the house was functionally very useful with two extra bedrooms, a full bath, laundry room, an activity room with sleeper sofa, and a den with a comfortable couch and huge TV screen perfect for movie nights. The extra half bath upstairs was also very convenient. Would absolutely return.”
