Vacasa in Flat Rock, North Carolina

“This place was exactly as advertised. The instructions to get there, check in, and check out were all very clear. They were very fast to respond to any questions (literally 10-15 minutes after sending them a message). Only problem I had was with the laundromat. We were there for a baseball tournament and I needed to wash uniforms. I was able to wash them but I could not the get uniforms dry! They had to wear damp uniforms (which we all know don’t smell great!) The filter that catches lint was missing from the dryer so that may be why but that was the only bad thing for us. Also, the canoes are listed as being able to use but there were no paddles. No big deal for us but maybe something they can fix for future renters. It’s an outdated facility but it’s so quiet and peaceful. There’s plenty of yard space if you have young kids, a pool, and a well kept lake or pond. It’s very close to any stores and restaurants. My kids had a great time and didn’t want to leave!”

“Our stay was good. It is a very old building. There seem to be a lot of people that live there and there was extra trash around, but the unit itself was nice. The bed was a little hard for our liking, but all in all it was a successful visit.”

“really nice locations, private with a nice view. great to sit out on the porch and look at the Mountainside. beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea. worked great for a situation.”

“It was a pleasurable stay. The rooms was organized and pleasant. There was a strong chemical disinfectant smell when we first arrived, but it dissipated as we opened windows. There was a slight issue with ants but the were very helpful with the situation”
