“Our trip was cancelled 10 minutes before check-in at a winter/snow destination. This host tried to have us cancel our stay (later we realized that would reflect badly on our profile). They then requested we use their personal website to try to find another 2 homes that would accommodate us and we would have to pay the difference (despite us finding this rental half a year in advance). They gave us a ticket number and then refused to answer our call/messages. The interesting thing is I got a call the day prior asking if we were coming or if we wanted to cancel. (I have never had this happen prior with Airbnb, so I do think they knew well in advance that they were going to cancel). Very unprofessional. Thank goodness Airbnb support helped us find a place for the night.”

“Our stay at the cabin could have been better. The location is ideal for those seeking privacy and who have a 4x4 vehicle. The cabin offers a great view and comfortable space. However, the furniture is lacking. There’s no dining table, so the only place to eat is the counter, which would be fine if the chairs were the right height. The mattresses in both rooms were terrible. My husband and I both had trouble sleeping and woke up with back pain. On the positive side, the 3-in-1 play table was great and helped us pass the time during the 11-degree weather. The heater and fireplace kept us warm. The recliner in the loft was peeling, and the rocking chair in the bedroom was stained. Shortly after arriving, my infant and preschoolers’ clothes were dirty and covered in dog hair. There were also yellowish stains on the rug, and the bathroom rugs looked like they hadn’t been washed in ages. The host was responsive and apologized for the issues. They issued a small credit for the inconvenience.”

“there was a stair broke we had 2 ppl fall they sent someone to fix it they didnt fix it the air went out upstairs nobody would get in touch with me there was german roaches in the kitchen the arcade games did not work”
