“DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We had to leave before spending one night due to finding bugs in one of the beds. It was uncertain if they were bed bugs vs carpet beetles but concerning nonetheless and we left the property immediately. Otherwise, the house is NOT well maintained. There are visible stains on the walls, carpets, furniture, and duvets. There were bugs smashed on the walls when we arrived and we killed several others in our short time there. I wish I could include pictures. I had to get Airbnb customer service involved to have a full refund issued for our stay. We were traveling for a friend’s wedding and the bride was supposed to stay in the house the night before her wedding but we had to make alternate plans. The place is managed by a sketchy management company with 100+ properties across the US and a very obviously fake AI profile pic. The whole experience has left me so disheartened with Airbnb as a whole and I am unlikely to stay in one ever again.”

“We felt very much at home and safe. Very centrally located 10-15 minutes to everything restaurants, shopping, downtown. Would definitely stay again in Durham.”

“Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. I fought ants the whole entire stay. I had to buy my own pots and pans to make food. Stains all over the walls and burn marks in the rug. There were dogs that were running around with no leash chasing us into the house. Cars running around the block multiple times reviving their engines. A couple was fighting and their child was bawling at 1 am. The towels already had stains on them. The living room window was cracked. There was trash in the yard and the yard needed mowed. I would never recommend anyone staying here. The owner was not helpful at all.”
