“I’ll start with the positives. The location is amazing. Close to everything in Duck that you’d want to be close to. The accommodations are great. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and the house was plenty big for us. Nice features are the golf cart and also an air compressor for pool toys. The pool is small but great to relax in and the hot tub was great too. Overall we were satisfied with what this place offered and had the potential to be. The negatives. The cleaner was still there after check in and left the place still dirty, sand everywhere and feces marks still in toilet. The Kees management says there would be soap dispensers for shampoo and body wash, they do not exist in either bathroom. The bathroom sink and tub were clogged with so much hair it backed up during use. We couldn’t use the golf cart til day 2 since that’s how long it took to get the instructions. Not going through Kees ever again. YMMV.”

“loved our stay at Charlie’s Casa in Colony by the Sea. Awesome location, we walked a lot into town and on the boardwalk, but when we did decide to drive only took 2-5 min. View was gorgeous and home was as described. Very easy access to pool and beach. Perfect for children or elderly. The pool is very nice too, love that it’s beach front. Nice playground at the front of the complex too. A really nice, private and cozy feeling area. My only complaint would be that there is no full size mirror anywhere in the unit, which makes it difficult when getting ready (especially putting on bathing suits/sunscreen!) I could only see myself from the shoulders up.”
