Sojourn in Currituck County, North Carolina

“The house was not pictured accurately in the photos. The outside is in need of painting. There was trash on the sidewalk when we arrived. No care has been given to any of the landscaping out front. The accessibility to the beach was great, but the brush on the walkway from the house to the boardwalk needs trimmed. There were beach chairs provided but they were so old we did not want to use them. The grill was also not usable because it was too dirty. The first day we arrived there was a strong urine smell in the house. It was so strong that we could not use the upstairs master or bathroom. After investigation the cleaner found that someone had urinated in the upstairs master bathroom cabinet. Needless to say that was not a good start to our stay. We left early. For the price we paid I am incredibly disappointed in the condition of this house and I do not recommend it to anyone. There are so many houses in the OBX that are much nicer and are the same price or less.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home in Corolla! The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was fantastic and made it easy to enjoy everything Corolla and the Outer Banks have to offer. We especially appreciated how welcoming and well-maintained the home felt—it was a great place to unwind and spend quality time together. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Corolla!”

“The perfect house for families with little ones!! Our kids loved the pool and we had easy access to the boardwalk from under the house. That way when the kids changed their minds after going to the beach for five minutes or forgetting something, it was quick and easy to run back to the house. There is an outdoor shower and foot rinse easily accessed for rinsing off after the beach or pool. The house was clean and the views from the porches were beautiful. The kids loved eating outside on the top deck and all the patio furniture was new and well cared for. We had a wonderful time here and will be back! Highly recommend b”
