“The pictures don’t do the view justice. The house is at the top of the mountain we had clear views for miles of the sunrise and the sunset. We were able to stargaze at night as well. The house itself had plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the couch overlooking the western view was beyond amazing. The pool table and game room were used a lot. The house is an older house but you can tell well maintained.”

“We rented this property to host a small, intimate dinner for my daughter's 16th birthday. Understanding that events/parties are typically not allowed, I contacted Carolina Rentals in advance to explain the situation, and it was approved. We checked in around 4:15 PM. Upon arrival, the unit was not properly cleaned. There were no sheets on the beds, and there were large amounts of hair throughout the property - on the floors, couches, and pillows. While I understand the unit is pet-friendly, the level of hair present was excessive and unsanitary. I contacted management with photos and make them aware once l checked out and instead of an apology l was told I should have called to have housekeeping sent. This was not feasible, as I was in the middle of preparing for dinner and cake. The property itself has potential and is nicely laid out, but both the interior and exterior, the hot tub area, were not clean to an acceptable standard. Hope the next guest has a better luck.”
