“The place needs some maintenance, but we enjoyed our stay. The location is so beautiful & the owners provide you with important information. First, it has an elevator for the 3-level property; use it to get an old pup up to the level w/out using the stairs. There is a post-beach-visit shower and a clean, bright, open interior in the duplex. On the fridge is a sign telling you how to survive rip tides, & flora to avoid in the yard, like cactus and sharp burrs that could hurt you or your furry friends' feet. Maintenance needs were the only reason for 4 stars; these included a leaking dishwasher that precluded its use and a damaged bathroom door on the dining/living room level, making it difficult to use. Hopefully, updates will occur after our visit. What to know before you go: The closest beach has a lot of debris & isn't a tourist beach; there are multiple shipwrecks in the ocean, making it unsafe to swim. Beach shows are a must! 5 min away is a pristine beach & safety.”
