“We just wrapped up five nights here over Labor Day weekend and it was a fantastic value. The house is private and secluded, so you really feel like you're properly in the mountains, but it's still less than 10 minutes from Burnsville for groceries or eating out. The house is clean, comfortable, and just as described, honestly even better in person. The downstairs game room is awesome! Whoever did the decor down there nailed it. It's a really fun flex space. Upstairs has a large master with a great en suite bath. The porches are lovely and the views are gorgeous, even with the summer foliage still full. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well located home base near Burnsville.”

“Our family of 5 enjoyed our Labor Day stay so much! We hiked the Black Mountain Crest trail on Saturday and had delicious pizza at Hog Hollow on Sunday for a late lunch. At the house, we enjoyed the porches and fire pit and the beautiful view from both. A great stay!”

“When we arrived the hot tub was at 65 degrees and this is the main reason we came to this cabin. We were told they drained it that morning but we weren’t able to use the whole trip. The did credit us $100 but kind of ruins the experience. This cabin has a beautiful view that can’t beat. The interiors rooms are good and kitchen. TVs are a little dated. Cabin was dusty and noticeable dirt on the floor if you didn’t have shoes on. Hot tub is not as pictured, very old and dirty, the cover is completely falling apart. Also could use chairs around fire pit as the benches are not comfortable. Like I said we booked for the main picture on their page the beautiful hot tub view and we couldn’t use it. The road is also a single lane gravel road that is extremely rough and there is no address on the end of the driveway or as you pull up to house. The view is great and if you only care about that you are good. If you like the amenities they are a little beat up. Grill is also old and burners rusty”

“Our stay was nice overall, but there are several areas that could be improved to elevate the guest experience. I didn't realize before booking, the home is very close to a busy road, so traffic noise was noticeable, and heard from the otherwise lovely backyard deck overlooking the river. Some towels and the living room rugs were stained. The grill worked but was in poor condition and had a hole in the bottom. The main bedroom mattress was uncomfortable, as you could feel the springs. We ended up using the smaller bedroom, where the bed was more comfortable. For the nightly rate, we expected the home amenities in better overall condition and more well-maintained. We also found conflicting information between the property management company emails and Airbnb post, particularly regarding trash procedures. Also the wifi router and Airbnb post had different passwords. Clearer, consistent information would improve the guest experience.”
