“We booked this place for the Labour Day weekend and had a great time. The host provided excellent instructions to find the cabin; note that it’s really hard to find in the dark. I’d suggest finding the cabin when it’s still light out when you check in because you drive through winding roads and there are no street lights. The cabin is very close to the great smoky mountains (a 20 min drive) so it’s a convenient base if you want to take multiple trips to the park. Views from the cabin are excellent and i highly recommend sitting in the patio to watch the sunset. The location is private so it’s very quiet and serene. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of utensils.The cabin could be cleaner as there were MANY cobwebs (even in and around highly trafficked areas, around bed, on the couch etc.) and a couple of spiders. Some of the doors creak and don’t lock (including one of the bathrooms). Lighting inside the cabin could be better as it’s somewhat dim at night.”

“Perfect Location! Gorgeus view! Comfortable rooms. Brian was always very responsive. We had a great time exploring the area. We rented a boat from Almond Boat rental close by and enjoyed two days on the lake. Grabbed a beer and watched the kayakers at Nantahala Outdoor Center also close by. We cannot wait to come back!”

“Upon arrival to this home we were immediately impressed by the view that is unmatched with amazing views from both the front deck and fire pit of the property. The house was perfect and roomy enough for all 7 of my family to feel both connected but also have our own privacy. Everything was impeccably maintained and very clean. Brian was very responsive and so friendly. It is certain we will stay at this exact home on any future visits to the area.”

“Great location and gorgeous views. Brian was very easy to work with. Close enough to be convienent to Bryson City but far enough away to feel like you get the privacy you want. Waking up to the mountain views is amazing and the cabin is very cute. Due to not appearing on GPS, the route to the cabin can be tricky, so it's recommended to save the instructions that are sent in a separate email before you get to the cabin in case you don't have signal. Only drawback is that I felt like the outside screened-in deck area was not as thoroughly cleaned as it could have been. Visible cobwebs on the walls and dust/pollen below furniture that could have easily been dealt with. Otherwise, a property that is well worth the investment for a short, quiet stay in the Smoky Mountains.”
