“This is a great remote cabin. The view is amazing. We loved the coziness of the cabin. Brain was help with the questions we had. The cabin is not far from Cherokee and Bryson City so that was a plus since we wanted to visit both towns.”

“We booked this place for the Labour Day weekend and had a great time. The host provided excellent instructions to find the cabin; note that it’s really hard to find in the dark. I’d suggest finding the cabin when it’s still light out when you check in because you drive through winding roads and there are no street lights. The cabin is very close to the great smoky mountains (a 20 min drive) so it’s a convenient base if you want to take multiple trips to the park. Views from the cabin are excellent and i highly recommend sitting in the patio to watch the sunset. The location is private so it’s very quiet and serene. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of utensils.The cabin could be cleaner as there were MANY cobwebs (even in and around highly trafficked areas, around bed, on the couch etc.) and a couple of spiders. Some of the doors creak and don’t lock (including one of the bathrooms). Lighting inside the cabin could be better as it’s somewhat dim at night.”

“Perfect Location! Gorgeus view! Comfortable rooms. Brian was always very responsive. We had a great time exploring the area. We rented a boat from Almond Boat rental close by and enjoyed two days on the lake. Grabbed a beer and watched the kayakers at Nantahala Outdoor Center also close by. We cannot wait to come back!”

“Brian was kind and very informative. There was a lot of information. I was prepared to deal with bugs and 'cabin glamping' but this house honestly feels like a home with a modern vibe! There were no bugs to deal with, not even a whole lot around the house outside. It was tidy and quiet. The house is on a steep hill so there wasn't a lot of space for my dog but it was definitely private and peaceful which meant a lot to me. Thank you!”

“Peaceful and beautiful view. Only advice I'd give to renters, if you're traveling and have to do work remotely, internet is spotty. But hot spot works great. Host was very responsive.”

“This cabin stay was GREAT. Just what we needed. Cabin is as described and is very close to downtown and trails at the Smokies. Brian was SO helpful and responsive through the entire process. If you are looking for a place with mountain views, this isn’t it. If you are looking for a private getaway that is absolutely peaceful, private, and enjoyable, this is it! The neighborhood is walkable, but is definitely a workout walking to the top. I can’t say enough about how helpful Brian was as a host. The cabin has what you need to cook dinner or is close enough to downtown Bryson City that you could pop over for some great food. We loved it.”

“Upon arrival to this home we were immediately impressed by the view that is unmatched with amazing views from both the front deck and fire pit of the property. The house was perfect and roomy enough for all 7 of my family to feel both connected but also have our own privacy. Everything was impeccably maintained and very clean. Brian was very responsive and so friendly. It is certain we will stay at this exact home on any future visits to the area.”
