“Was a nice place”

“The rental is the exact opposite of how it is described in the listing. The listing states it is “a privet riverfront retreat surrounded by nature”. It is actually located in a low rent residential area with a river view (1/4 mile away) across a main highway behind an old drive in restaurant that has been closed down for many years. It has no river access at all, with neighbors surrounding the property on three sides. The listing states it has been “beautifully upgraded”, it has had basic updates (paint, carpet, laminate flooring) but no extras. It did not even have a dishwasher. The inside of the home was clean, but the outside was dirty and neglected (white vinyl siding showing excessive dirt, very tall grass). One of the bedrooms had a large piece of furniture sitting on top of the AC register preventing the air conditioning from entering the room (it was very uncomfortable while trying to sleep). It was very misleading. I do. It recommend this rental to others.”
