“Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing & did not match the condition advertised in the listing. There was a strong smell of mold & moisture. The humidity was so severe that the downstairs sheets felt wet. We had to repeatedly empty the air purifier, sometimes within an hour. Floors had sand throughout the house upon check-in, requiring us to wear shoes inside & wipe our feet before getting into bed. There was visible mold & mildew throughout the showers, and the dishwasher was so mold-infested that we did not feel comfortable using it and had to purchase plastic dishes. The downstairs shower also had long black hair all over the drain/shower floor, making it clear that it had not been properly cleaned before arrival. Of the four bathrooms, only two had toilet paper, with just one roll each. There were no paper towels, no hand soap, & only 1 trash bag that was already in the trash can when we arrived. We had to purchase these basic necessities ourselves in order to make do.”

“This house was our favorite place we’ve stayed in, in the 20+ years we have been vacationing on the coast. The layout was functional and comfortable, and perfect for what we needed. The view of the ocean from the living room was beautiful. The kitchen was well appointed. The common areas were comfortable for a family. All of the furniture and beds were comfortable. The deck access from the bedrooms was extremely helpful with our pups. The elevator was helpful when loading in and out. The property inside and out was well cared for. The grill and “outside” kitchen were a definite plus. The host was attentive and responded quickly to questions. Check-in and checkout was a breeze. Everything was as advertised and our experience was everything we could have hoped for. We would 100% stay there again, and we hope to return in the future.”

“I've NEVER left a bad review, but having four five-star properties available through Airbnb, I feel like I know what makes a good rental. Welcome mats were a shabby welcome, doors and sliding glass doors to the rear of the property were rusted to the point of not opening without extreme effort. Six forks for ten people and a broken oven top that was unusable for our party who loves to cook nightly. Not to mention the dishwasher utensil holder not being big enough for any amount of dirty utensils. Stains on pillow cases and mattress pads, overgrown weeds in the front and back, over-used, stained pillows and weathered, rained rotted wood flooring. We wanted to try a new area and thought this looked nice in photos but we are used to much higher quality standards. We made it work but every time we made our peace with our choice, we came upon another disappointment.”
