“We had such a great stay at Uncle John’s Cabin! It was the perfect quick mountain getaway for our family. I’m pretty particular about accommodations & this cabin checked all the boxes. It was spotless, beautifully maintained & full of thoughtful touches. Charming, updated & comfortable! The game room was a HUGE hit! So much to do & the perfect spot for friendly competition, laughs & time spent together unplugged. Definitely something that sets this cabin apart. There’s plenty of space for families/groups, comfortable bedrooms & a fully stocked kitchen. We ate out most of our short stay (Local Lion for donuts + coffee!), but everything you’d need is there. We also loved the peaceful porch, gorgeous setting & hot tub after a day out. Great location! Private & tucked away, yet close to Boone. We loved Profile Trail & Mast General Store. Also a great option for App State games, Parents Weekend or graduation. We’d absolutely stay again and wish we’d booked a few extra days!”

The views were absolutely breathtaking, with the mountains stretching out in every direction. The deck quickly became our favorite place to gather, relax, enjoy a meal, and simply take in the scenery. It was the kind of view you never get tired of looking at. The home provided a wonderful backdrop for a very special family celebration, and we left feeling grateful for the time we had together. The combination of the incredible views, comfortable gathering spaces, and peaceful mountain setting made this a place we would happily return to. Beautiful views, great house, wonderful memories!”

“Lovely escape from the city! This A-Frame had me daydreaming about a second home in the NC mountains! Short and fun drive into Boone for good beer and food, and a great launching pad for adventures in any of the many nearby parks.”
