“Good stay, clear instructions on how to get there. Our GPS was aware of the driveway but you really can’t miss the turns anyway. There were sedans/coupes up there but I wouldn’t feel comfortable in a car in the event of inclement weather.”

“We live in NC and decided on a last minute weekend getaway. We loved this home for our family of four plus two dogs (Rottie + Poodle). Very responsive host who accommodated our request for early check in. The home was super clean, throughout. Very spacious and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well appointed. The beds were very comfortable with lots of extra towels in the bathrooms. The house is tucked into a forested community. We sat on the deck and the dogs chilled with us. The town of Black Mountain is less than 1.5 miles away as is the grocery store. Special note to dog parents: We saw bears strolling by the basement bedroom sliding door! Don’t let your dogs roam unsupervised. The walk from the house to the arch at the entry of the community is a nice safe way to give your pup exercise or walk a bit further and walk the old highway with bikers & runners. Overall, it was an amazing stay!”

“What an amazing stay! This property exceeded every expectation. We spent most of our time on the patio simply watching the clouds roll by and taking in the breathtaking views. It truly feels like a special place. The host has clearly put so much thought and care into every detail. The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and incredibly well-maintained. The blooming flowers around the property added so much charm, and the flat green space was perfect for our dogs to run and play. The bedrooms, bathroom, and living areas were all spacious, inviting, and beautifully appointed. For the quality of the accommodations and the overall experience, the value is outstanding. We are just 2 people, but felt this could accommodate a family or groups very well. For anyone concerned about access, the road was much easier than expected. We saw several sedans navigating it without any issues, us in a honda CRV were more than able. This was quite possibly the best Airbnb stay we've ever had. We”

“This cabin was extremely beautiful and sat in a beautiful location on top of the mountain. It was very peaceful and quaint. The cabin was clean and everything about it was perfect. Sitting on the back deck having coffee was the perfect way to start the morning. Watching the sunrise was amazing. The host was very attentive and always answered emails quickly. I will definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family, and stay here again. You won’t be disappointed.”
