“What an amazing and special place!!! Even though I’ve been to WNC and Black Mountain since I was a kid, I haven’t experienced a stay or view like this before. The cabin was cute and cozy, and the view from our own back porch was the best. About a 20 min drive to downtown Black Mountain, but could still have an amazing time without ever leaving the area, it was great sometimes to just stay and enjoy the cabin and surrounding grounds. Instructions provided to drive up to the property were very descriptive and helpful. I already miss waking up there to the mountains already!”

“This cabin is quite the gem! The path getting up to the cabin was long and winding, but we were able to easily make it up with our sedan. Make sure to follow the directions that the hosts provide for easiest access to the property. The cabin, itself, was cute and quaint. It was just the right size to comfortably fit the two of us. The campus that this cabin sits on is truly paradise. The views are incredible, the common spaces are bountiful and equipped with everything you could need, and the atmosphere is serene and allows you to fully unplug and recenter yourself. The lights around the campus on the various trees at night was a nice touch to bring some character and charm. The hosts were kind, generous, proactive, and very quick to respond. This place is truly a slice of heaven that I would recommend to anyone! You are only about 12-15 minutes from downtown black mountain and there are a myriad of hikes in the area to explore. Don't pass up this place if it is available!”

“Our stay in Falcon's Perch cabin was amazing! The view was stunning, the location was remote but you didn't feel isolated or too removed. The drive up the mountain was a little nerve-wracking, but SO worth it. Rachel and Craig were responsive to any questions we had and very helpful.”

“Beautifully decorated and very comfortable, not at all fussy. The cottage was very clean, well stocked with kitchenware, linens, and the beds were the most comfortable we have slept in at an airbnb! Can't beat the location for convenience and the owner is friendly and responsive. And yes, the bears in the neighborhood is a real thing, a big guy strolled through the back yard our first night. Exciting! (Thankfully, he didn't linger!) We would definitely stay at this property again.”

“This was an amazing place to stay on top of the mountain. It was so peaceful and quiet with beautiful views. Our goal while driving up the mountain was to see a bear, which we did, he jumped out in front of my truck and walked in front of us for a little before disappearing back into the woods. The nature is amazing, the clear instructions were very helpful, and it was a short ride into town. Would def recommend and would def stay again. Thank you!”
