“My family and I enjoyed our stay at Uptacamp. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness with it being a pet friendly cabin. There was some pet hair here and there but nothing crazy. I liked how everything inside the home was labeled making it easy to find items (kitchen, laundry, First aid, etc). Small detail of phone chargers near the beds and living room space was helpful if charger was forgotten. My favorite thing about staying here was watching the deer right outside the place. I was able to sit and read on the porch while listening to the peaceful sounds of the wildlife while enjoying the deer. I imagine the wildlife can get very active out there in the warmer months. The Wild Iris trail being close was wonderful, we enjoyed our hike around the area. I do prefer to stay closer to Boone when going for a longer time and having more activities planned, but this spot was perfect for a quick weekend enjoying the slopes at Beech or peaceful glamping experience.”

“The home was absolutely beautiful and super convenient for our ski weekend. We would definitely stay again!”
