“This home is in need of updates/repair. House had a smell, tap water smelled like a swamp/sewage. The mattress had a stain and after they cleaned it we had to call late at night to get sheets. The bathroom was full of hair and dust on the floor and base of tub. Food piece in utensil drawer. Couch covered in pet hair. Lights and covers out, missing, cracked, and full of bugs. Hot tub had lots of stains. Found black substances growing around window and air vent. We were told by the maintenance person that that’s just how the city water smells and it’s not their fault. Even if that’s true, I still don’t want to smell worse after I shower. There is just too much to list. We asked to leave and get a refund but the host told AirBNB that we adamantly declined a reclean after they told us we needed to contact AirBNB to do anything since we booked with them. The reclean wasn’t helpful. I was extremely dissatisfied with the home and price. Hopefully this home will be deep cleaned and updated.”
