“Due to weather, the driveway was impossible to ascend. Even a four wheel drive SUV with chains could not reach the house. Additionally, there was wear and tear. For example, the hinges on the barrel sauna were broken which made entering/exiting a pain.”

“We enjoyed our time - the space was big and comfortably fit 10 guests. The beds were all super comfy and the outdoor spaces (porches, fire pit, sauna, hot tub & grill) were the highlight! The kitchen was great but definitely didn’t have a lot of dishes and silverware, so I’d recommend bringing disposable plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect!”

“We had a great time there for skiing. It is a short drive to Sugar Mountain. You definitely need snow chains for the car to get up to the cabin. It would be great to have more kitchen utensils , such as wine glasses, coffee mugs etc”

“Location was great, not far from Grandfather Mt(our intention).There were great restaurants & activities to do within 30 min. drive. No issues finding/getting in Airbnb.When it comes to cleanliness, some things could have been better. Especially due to the high cleaning fee & I am not talking about the occasional spiderweb or bug, that happens(e.g., food residue on the cabinets). However, we are happy to report that the bathrooms, the linens&general area were very clean. If you are a cooker, you may want to bring your own cookware. The quality/availability was not the best & it was not organized. I was able to cook but it was a challenge. As far as accuracy, there was a mishap about the sauna(key feature for us booking).There was an "out of order" sign but when we brought it up, they showed intention for correcting the issue & communicated quickly. O/A, since the issues that we came across are fixable & there is a lot to do in the Airbnb itself,we would still consider booking in future”
