“We stayed at Echo Notch this past weekend, and honestly, the house could not have been more perfectly suited for some rest and relaxation. Misty mountain views through the sliding glass doors, morning coffee in the warmth of the wood stove. The well stocked kitchen, with its generous island, was a pleasure to cook in. The bed we slept in was so comfortable! Best sleep I've had in a long time! We did get out a bit: West Kill Brewing and the Phoenicia Diner were both easy, worthwhile outings. Also nearby farm stands for fresh produce. Thought I’d address a previous review that had mentioned a water issue. We had been assured before our stay that the problem (a cracked well pipe) had been fully repaired, and that was indeed our experience. The water was crystal clear and refreshing, solid pressure throughout. No issues whatsoever. Communication with the hosts was easy, the house had everything we needed, and I'm already trying to figure out when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend.”

“This was the perfect getaway from the city for my family. Quiet and peaceful with an amazing view from the patio. Enjoyed sitting out there with the morning coffee as well as the fire pit in the evening. The kitchen is well-stocked, there were plenty of games in the house to keep us busy, and the nearby restaurants exceeded expectations. There was ample room and a nice big dining table to gather around. We felt right at home. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and neat. This is a great find, I highly recommend it.”

“The home is very charming. It's an old house full of character and I mean that in a good way. The kitchen is large and stocked really well. My husband and I are both professional chefs and we were impressed by the amount of tools and gadgets available for use. There were also thoughtful touches like Harney and Sons tea bags and togo cups for beverages and plenty of blankets to cozy up under. There are two fireplaces and plenty of dry wood to use which was great since we were up there in the winter. There is another outdoors which would be awesome to use when there isn't two feet of snow on the ground. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hang out and dining space if you go with a bigger group. I would recommend bringing bottles of drinking water. The management company said the tap water was safe to drink but it has high copper levels which you can see. We felt more comfortable drinking bottled water. But that's just a personal comfort.”
