“The listing promised two kayaks and a dock, which I confirmed with the host in advance, but they were unavailable when we arrived. The property also had a serious blackfly problem, making it uncomfortable and unhygienic. The host offered a small refund, but it was not adequate to compensate for the missing amenities that were a major reason for booking.”

“We loved our stay here! The home was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was so beautiful. If you plan to cook bring cooking oil and spices otherwise the kitchen is stocked with necessary cooking items. Perfect getaway for a couple. Note that you need to climb two flights of stairs to access the living area since it sits above the garage.”

“The location is fabulous, the paddles boards and kayak were a blast! Overall we had a really great time. Only negative was my communication with the guest services, they were unhelpful and slightly rude. Also there were dead bugs everywhere and they were swarming around the house, ladybugs and black flys. Not sure how they entered the house but it was a bit gross, not entirely the owners fault but still wasn’t ideal. Overall I would totally recommend this stay, it was private and beautiful and many things to do.”

“Good place for small family. Despite it can fit 4 cars, there is only 1 queen size bed for adults, and 1 bunk bed for 2 kids. Also there is only 1 bathroom and septic system, so water should be used in very efficient way to avoid problems. Kitchen does not provide anything like salt, sugar, pepper or tea - keep this in mind. Also canoe is not a part of rentals, even if it is on main photos. We've asked if it can be used, does it has paddles, and if life wests available - we were told it can be used but no life wests. So we brought our life wests, but we were not able to find paddles, and then got 'not a part of rentals' response from owner on the question 'where are the paddles?'. We were also missing firewood - we've been credited some money back for this, thanks. While nights were chilly, owners provided with portable heater fans - those will be not enough during winter time - confirm heating situation prior to renting.”

“We loved our weekend getaway at the cabin. The kids loved the space and were able to play freely around the property. We were looking for something private and quiet and this was a great fit!”
