Vibe Finger Lakes in Rushville, New York

“The place was neat and clean. The real highlight is the lake access and views! We spent a lot of time at the waterfront area with the dock, fire pit, kayaks, and seating. The lake is beautiful!! It was only a 15 minute drive to CMAC and the downtown to lots of great restaurants!”

“We had a great time at this property. The location was perfect and very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We were able to keep our pontoon boat at the dock which was definitely a plus. The home has spacious bedrooms and updated bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked. The master bedroom had a large, beautiful bathroom. The living room was very bright and had amazing views of Canandaigua Lake. There was a nice upstairs deck and also a seating area with fire pit by the dock. We loved taking after dinner walks in the beautiful neighborhood. My family and I enjoyed our stay here.”

“Our stay in Rushville on Lake Canadaigua was very nice. We had 14 family members in our group and the house was the correct size for our group. The weather was fantastic so we ate most of our meals outside on the deck with an incredible view. However a couple of things to tweak. First, the full baths were a bit small, dimly lit and not the cleanest. Therefore many of our group took showers in the master bath which was fine. Second, it would have been nice if there was a sign on the beach to wear foot wear in the water as many of the rocks in the shallows were very sharp and several of us had cuts on the bottom of our feet because of the rocks. Finally, we lost all water pressure in the house one evening due to an emergency shot off trigger. I called VIBE and texted for over 5+ hours trying to get it fixed but they told me the plumber would have to fix the following morning. I finally tracked down the owner who re-set the water on line by logging in. VIBE was useless in this.”

“Had high hopes for this place, but it just wasn't a good fit. Everything is sparse. The description said it was a "stocked" kitchen, but there really wasn't a full "set" of anything for 6. Aside from BBQ tools, you'll find a whisk, soup ladle and slotted spoon. I used 1 of 2 steak knives to cut up strawberries in the morning. I didn't report this to Vibe, as I had already reached out on some other things--key code didn't work, TV had to be reset based on check-in date, and there was no body wash or shampoo (they offered to reimburse for toiletries). It seemed like they didn't know I was coming--even the door mats and outdoor furniture were inside. Lamps on nightstands, shades for privacy and clean windows would be nice upgrades. Note that there remains a significant difference in temperature between the primary bedroom (very warm) and the rest of the house. A review mentioned this last year. The view and dock will be enough for many, but the house should also deliver at this price.”

“Our stay was a complete disappointment and I would not recommend this place to anyone. The listing photos were very misleading. It is NOT on the lake as advertised. The walk to the lake is far, and the “view” of the lake from the house is minuscule—you can barely see it. The house itself was a hazard and felt unsafe. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. Both the bathtub and shower were broken and unusable. The entire place was old, dirty, and poorly maintained. There was pet hair on the furniture, floors, and bedding. We left feeling misled and frustrated. The description does not match reality at all. Save your money and book elsewhere. This was by far our worst Airbnb experience.”
