First off never cleaned from previous "guests." Had to wait to check in, had to then wait for cleaning. There is no sanitation done to ANYTHING including bedding and towels. It's called BLEACH. Everything smelled musty, dirty and like animals. As a critical care RN of 20 years there should be zero stars and a full refund for your disgraceful, bullshit, HELL HOLE, and renamed "Nightmare on Elm Street." Then curtains dont work so you feel like your in prison, our sons bed was broken, had to wait for a maitence guy and blinds never fixed and talk about "ghetto rigging" our sons bed. We had to stock our own supplies. It would have been more clean to sleep on Wegman's floor. You should be ASHAMED of yourselves for what an unsanitary, absolute hell on earth establishment. Also, news flash Walmart & Target ARE NOT LUXURY, there was NOTHING in that disgusting rats nest that was. Missing one of our bags, no contact;HUGE ISSUE! Can't properly respond. This will be escalated well beyond YOU!

Beautiful lakefront location, was super relaxing to be right on the water & we really enjoyed the hottub. It did feel a bit smaller than described and there were unfortunately quite a lot of bugs, both outside but also dead gnats/cobwebs inside. Overall enjoyed our stay but hope it’ll be better cleaned for future guests!

Well kept house, kitchen equipped well, nice screened porch, missing supplies like tissues, garbage bags, sandwich bags, dishwasher pods,(it took over 24 hours for the supplies to be replaced), had to walk around geese droppings to get to the water and playground making the grassy area hard to navigate, very few restaurants nearby, air filters needed to be replaced and were not despite our asking, nice sunsets

The lake is lovely, the setting is beautiful, and there are lots of toys for kids. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by pest, cleanliness, and maintenance issues. On day 2, we found a mouse in the kitchen, chewed food packaging, and droppings throughout the kitchen, stove area, and cabinets. The kitchen was unusable for most of our 6-night stay despite being advertised as “fully stocked.” We had to store food in the refrigerator/car and discard ~$250 in groceries due to contamination concerns, particularly difficult given our family’s food allergies. The refrigerator measured ~48°F. We reported this and were told a technician would come, but received no follow-up. An exterminator reportedly set traps and sealed an entrance, but a dead mouse remained under the sink for 3 days until we removed it. We also found a second dead mouse in a trap. Other issues included a broken patio door lock, nonfunctional TV, dirty carpet, dust/hair buildup, and very uncomfortable beds.

We stayed for six nights with three families. The location was fantastic, and our kids spent every day swimming and playing on the lawn. We also appreciated being allowed an extra guest at no charge, early check-in, early jet ski docking. Unfortunately, the property was not well maintained. The house was cover in dead bugs. The exterior, deck, and outdoor kitchen were covered in dead bugs, cobwebs, and leaves, with overgrown weeds throughout. While lakeside homes naturally collect cobwebs, the property should have been cleaned before our arrival. Several outdoor bar chairs were broken, limiting seating. We also reported burned-out light bulbs and a dirty pantry, but those issues were never addressed. Communication was slower than advertised, often taking an hour or more. Although someone eventually came to clean the deck and outdoor kitchen, the overall condition did not match the rental price. This property has tremendous potential but needs better maintenance and attention to detail

Ok, why the 4 stars. I am one who believes in honesty and accountability. The place itself was very nice. However, it is definitely in need of upgrading. Simple fixes; pots and pans and colander. The one semi-large one and pans all need replacing. There was nothing to strain pasta. Appliances are ready for replacement. Lots of beeping going on from fridge. Washer and dryer were so incredibly loud! Decided to finish laundry at home. New rugs! They make wonderful washable rugs these days. Being that they are pet friendly, rugs wear out very quickly. Couldn’t find any essentials, scissors, lighter, etc. Light bulbs needed changing in two rooms and batteries for remotes were dead. There was no salt and pepper and no type of oil or Pam. I went to Walmart and bought these things, plus Pam so myself and the next few guests could have. Also, purchased a lighter that I left there. The AC in the master was so loud every few minutes it turned on. With all this said, it was comfortable and clean.

Small, old and cute, this home could be so much nicer if it were cleaned and maintained better. We were an older party of 3 who flew in for 6 nights from 3 different places and were disappointed to have to wash everything in the kitchen before we used it, as it all felt icky and had not been cleaned properly. Staircase railings and floors were sticky and there was dirt on cabinets. The living area is quite small with a chipped wall that needs to be repaired and painted. Towels were insufficient and small and bedding mismatched and a narrow, staircase leading to the upstairs where one bedroom door was missing making that area not very private. All in all, this property if cleaned and maintained better with some tlc could be quite nice for a few people. Hard to imagine it could sleep 8 with 6 upstairs (4 on trundle beds) sharing a tiny bathroom.

Solid house, not much to do, views not great, significantly further from lake with no nearby public access points, host company vibe communicates alot but seems to forget this is a vacation; ie half dozen or more checkout rules as one of several examples etc...takes away from the idea of a relaxed vacation despite prompt communication

Pros: the lake view and access was great. The kids loved the tree swing. Cons: the living space was very dirty. Animal hair everywhere. Trash and old crumbs in the couch. Sheets felt old and not clean. Humidifier kept leaking. Look, if you just want to feel like you are staying at your friends grandmas place, this is the spot. But if you are wanting something clean and with thoughtful consideration for guests, this might not be the spot.

A beautiful location but a filthy house. We were very unhappy with the cleanliness of the house. The floor had not been swept or vacuumed. Food particles and peanuts were all over the floor. Cob webs and dead flies were everywhere. The kitchen and dining tables were visibly dirty and sticky to the touch. Just a quick wipe with a wet rag would have been sufficient to clean them. The exterior flagstone patio was completely overgrown with weeds (until my son-in-law spent an hour plus pulling them up). While he did that I cleaned what looked like a week’s worth of goose droppings that littered the walkway and dock. The sunbrella base was loose and tended to fall over. We told the management some lamps needed light bulbs but none were brought over. Most Airbnbs have bath soap, kitchen sponges and dish towels, this house had none whatsoever.
