“We had a wonderful stay here and it was the perfect base for exploring the Catskills. The location was fantastic, right on the river, peaceful and private, with the kind of quiet you don't get at home. We loved being able to head out and explore each day and come back to our little bolt hole in the evenings. One night we spotted fireflies, and with so little light pollution the stars were incredible every single evening. The house itself was really well set up for a family stay. It sleeps 6 comfortably across two double bedrooms and a bunk bed room, so it worked perfectly for us. The kitchen had everything we needed, the rooms were comfortable, and it genuinely felt like home for the time we were there. WiFi was fast too, which made it easy to stay connected when we needed to. The host was brilliant, she was really responsive and check-in was seamless with clear, easy-to-follow instructions too! Highly recommend this spot for families looking for a peaceful, nature-filled location.”

“What a lovely getaway. Phoenicia and the area have plenty of things to do, but just hanging out at the property I saw birds and beasts galore, the milky way streaming over a campfire, and a forest lit by fireflies. If you miss the creek-hammock, then you’re living your life wrong. The house was everything you need, well supplied, and even has Adirondack chairs with Marshmallow stick holders. I saw an army of ducks swoop like devils up the creek each morning hunting tadpoles. Not a hallucination, but it kind looked like one. What a magical place.”
