“My family of 5 had an amazing week at Idle Hour. There are about 80 steps to get down from the driveway to the house but thankfully there’s an electric lift for luggage. The location is just perfect for a relaxing getaway. The property has everything you need with 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards. We never used the canoe. We loved sitting on and jumping off the dock, and in the evening we enjoyed the fire pit. The shore is rocky so I’d recommend wearing sandals or water shoes if you prefer. The house itself was cozy and came with all the basics you need. We were grateful we brought beach towels.”

“We loved our stay! This was our first time visiting the Finger Lakes and we will definitely be back. Having a porch right on the water was our favorite part - coffee in the morning and wine in the evening! We have a 4 and 6 year old and they never left the water! The house was charming and the bathroom was very nice. Thanks for the wonderful memories.”
