“We had a restful escape from the summer in the city for just over two weeks at the Oakwood Cabin. It was the perfect place to call home—very accessible from NYC while feeling worlds away, with clean, spacious living areas, great AC, and a well-stocked kitchen that had us cooking delicious meals inspired by all the amazing local finds. There are great walks nearby, hikes at Vernooy Falls and Minnewaska, Ravenswood just down the hill, and endless summer finds at Barthel’s, Saunderskill, and Wallkill View Farm. We truly did not want to leave! One note for future guests: the Home Sweet Hudson team is very proactive and responsive, but there seems to be an AI-related glitch in their communication system. We had a couple of hiccups at check-in and found ourselves going back and forth between a bot that seemed unaware of our previous conversation and an actual person who was ultimately very helpful. Otherwise, a wonderful experience!”

“Enjoyed the A Frame and loved the kitchen island, appliances and open den. Bedroom Upstairs could have used benches, somewhere to put our suitcases as there’s limited wardrobe space.Also needed more hooks in the bathroom for towels and space for toiletries. .”
