“The place was ok, however, the main reason we rented the place was because it had a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was extremely dirty and was tucked under the porch in a not so appealing setting. It was basically unusable. We also felt the kitchen was sparsely equipped and not what we are accustomed to in an AirBnB. The place was not worth over $400 a night.”

“Do not book with Portoro homes. Upon arrival we were met with a plumber telling us that he was unaware of any guests arriving and had shut off the water at the property. The hot tub was unusable and again we were told the hot tub maintenance was unaware of any guests arriving for the weekend (we booked this trip over 3 months in advance). The outdoor fireplace was unaccessible the driveway and walkway to the house were not shoveled or salted. Unexpected pet fee of $150 (charged 2 days prior to arrival and yet none of the maintenance knew we were arriving?). When you called the host for assistance it was a central office who then transferred us to a local office who had no idea what the situation was. Could not be more disappointed by the entire experience. The location is nice.”

“I’ve used airbnb for a while and I have never had an issue. This place was dirty, the hot tub had brown stains and the plumbing was bad. We followed the rules but both bathrooms flooded making both bathrooms unusable for the last night and morning of check out. They did not have a lot of plates and cups. Would not return.”

“The house is beautiful, spacious, and super clean. Everything we needed was there. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay, and the views around the place were great.”

“Like other management companies handling Airbnbs this was a complete disaster. Avoid at all costs.”
