“The space was neat and well-designed. However, the king-sized bed had visible hair and looked dirty, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. I notified the host promptly, but they didn’t respond until the next day—only saying they hoped I enjoyed my stay. I did not, and I felt unacknowledged. The Wi-Fi was also down all night, adding to the inconvenience.”

“The place itself was wonderful and the hosts were great. However, the neighborhood felt unsafe to us at night. After our stay, we looked into the area further and found multiple safety/crime rating sites that rated it below average compared to surrounding neighborhoods, which aligned with our experience. There was also a noticeable police presence during part of our stay. We ended up using rideshares more often to avoid walking at night. Had we understood the area better beforehand, we likely would have chosen a different location. The hosts and property themselves were excellent.”
