“The place is just as advertised. Clean, quiet and close to town. Too bad the bridge was being repaired across the street, because it added time too get to our favorite swimming hole. (It is supposed to be done by November) But that just meant less people! The key pad on the door was temperamental. If you take your time and carefully put in the numbers it seemed to work better. Overall it was just what we were looking for.”

“We had a great stay at Hillside Hideaway! The property was exactly as listed and made a wonderful place to hang our hats for a few days. It was bright, clean, and full of charm. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. The kitchen/laundry essentials box on the kitchen counter and the treat bag for our dog was a nice touch. So very thoughtful. The binder filled with local recommendations and things to do was also very helpful. Take the listing seriously when it mentions the steep driveway—an all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive vehicle is definitely recommended. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. A cheese grater, some sharp kitchen knives, and a couple more washcloths would have been nice additions, but they certainly weren't dealbreakers. We would happily recommend Hidden Hideaway to our family and friends.”
