“I didn’t get the value I paid for here. Price was way too high for what I got. Thankfully the hosts worked with me to compensate me for the issues I had, so I give 2 stars instead of 1. I appreciate their support & willingness to work with me, but already had stayed a night & dealt with the issues. Main issue was the place didn’t feel clean at all. Smelled musty, bedding smelled musty. The sofa beds are not what are in the photos. One was a child size futon, the other folded out into a mat on the floor that was covered in dirt and stains. Extra pillows and blankets were stained yellow and the closet I found them in smelled awful. I asked for clean pillows and blankets but didn’t get them until the next day. Also saw there is a pool in the listing. I chose this place bc of the pool. I didn’t see photos of it, so I messaged the host to confirm. They said yes, & inside the condo it says the pool is heated June - Sept. Well, it’s August and the pool was already closed for the season.”

“The house was clean enough, but definitely dated, especially the bathrooms/showers. When we arrived the water and breakers weren't turned on, which would have been a difficulty if my husband wasn't with us. The beds and mattresses were very uncomfortable. I had reached out prior to our visit about utilizing the Waterville valley athletic center for the pool, and the response I received was clearly an AI response and not helpful. For any families, if you rent this house you can't utilize that pool, which was a big disappointment for our kids. It was just an ok experience and definitely didn't have the personal touch of other Air BNBs I've experienced. The house needs some updating to be worth the price we paid.”
