Vacasa in New Hampshire

Vacasa's guest reviews across New Hampshire. See homeowner reviews of Vacasa on their profile.

Vacasa's guest rating in New Hampshire of 4.57 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract. We recently stayed at this Airbnb in Lake Winnipesaukee and had a mixed experience. The home was spacious and in a great location near the lake, making it easy to enjoy the area. The fishing dock was excellent, and the easy water access was a major plus. Despite bad weather during our trip, we still had a great time overall. Upon arrival, the home felt stale, and the air conditioning was not working. Fortunately, the owner was nearby and quickly helped address the issue. We also noticed several cleanliness concerns, including thick dust on the ceiling fan and bedroom air vents. In addition, the water had a strong sulfur smell. We contacted the management company multiple times through chat to ask if this was normal, but after three days without a response, we assumed it was and relied mostly on bottled water while limiting showers. While some concerns were eventually addressed, the cleanliness and overall freshness of the home could definitely be improved.

***BEWARE OF THE FINE PRINT AND READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BOOKING**** I don’t know if it’s because our group was the first renter of the season but this home and Vacasa NH were a nightmare from beginning to end. All the windows had spiderwebs on them and hadn’t been opened or used in months, which of course led to actual spiders crawling into the home in every window that we had to get rid of. The toilet was broken and after my son temporarily fixed it, instead of being like “hey we will send someone out to fix the part” these people literally sent us a “do it yourself fix it guide” to their own property All of this would have been overlooked if not for the fine print of the listing which to this day STILL includes glamorous pictures of the Samoset pool. Which well…isn’t open for the entire summer and is a giant hole in the ground during construction. On top of that, you’ll have to scroll to the end of the listing to figure out that you have to check out at 10AM. Ridiculous.
