“Nice lake side home and very quiet in winter. Although it was plowed, ice completely covered all decks and walking areas. It wasn't salted/sanded- very treacherous. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was clean but bare of any welcoming grocery items like S. &P. ,oil or spices. Surfaces were clean, butwe found several damaged utensils, pans very scratched , cracked wine glasses, greasy broiler pan and the microwave didn't work. The basement with pool table seemed unheated, so it wasn't useful for us. It appeared that no one really paid attention to checking the house thoroughly, even though it was clean on bathroom and kitchen surfaces . Because we were arriving during a freezing rain / icing weather event, I contacted Vacasa to inquire about road and yard conditions but was never given an answer specific to our location. I attempted to contact local Vacasa agent apon arrival about help with treating the ice but the mailbox was full , so I never reached anyone.”
