Vacasa in Meredith, New Hampshire

“Great location and very convenient stay. However, the house needs a deep clean and a dehumidifier, as it felt and smelled damp inside. The outdoor shower lacks privacy due to a small door, and the dishwasher didn’t clean well. Basic supplies like sponges and dish soap were also missing. Overall, the location is a big plus, but cleanliness, humidity, privacy, and basic amenities need improvement.”

“The house itself is great! Super peaceful and relaxing exactly what we needed. When we arrived at the trash bins were all full so we had to deal with vacasa to get that taken care of. They only supply 3 garbage bags and 2 rolls of toilet paper so be prepared to buy some as soon as you get there. The recycle bags need to be clear tall kitchen bags which I don't know where to even buy that. The code provided to get into the front door did not work it was way too many numbers. They did have a backup lockbox system with a key but that required a call to vacasa and some time as well. There were plenty of bath towels but only two beach towels. If you like to play games you might want to bring your own as a lot of these have been in the house for a long time and do not have all the pieces. Overall the house is great though! I would go back!”

“This was the perfect stay if you’re searching for the ultimate lake experience. The home was extremely clean and accommodating for a family while being steps away from the water and fire pit. You’re not more than 8 minutes from the life of downtown Meredith but the location makes you feel very secluded on the lake (in a good way). Highly recommend this location and host!”
