“This is a great family vacation spot! The location is spectacular, one of the best on Lake Waukewan, looking out over a quiet cove. The dock area is great for swimming (the water is deep), and there is a beach for little toddlers and for launching kayaks and paddle boards (two kayaks were provided, as were life jackets). Outside decks / chairs are plentiful, and there is shade available all through the day. The communication from our host Darryl was timely, and he was very responsive to the few issues we encountered during our stay. We are giving four stars, as some of the living areas were not as clean as expected (kitchen and baths were fine), and the home is a bit worn and could use some minor maintenance / upgrading. Overall a wonderful stay for our family of seven, and we would definitely consider staying again if the opportunity arises.”

“If you are looking for a peaceful environment looking out over a gorgeous lake this is the place. I personally couldn't get enough of just siting on the deck, drinking coffee and taking in the serentity of the environment. My children and grandchild enjoyed the dock as well as the kayaks and water crafts provided with the house. Even though the house is a spacious 5 star habitat and provides a number of amentities the location is clearly the jewel. During the day we were visited by Loons and Herons and at night we had a view of the Milkyway and stars, it doesn't get better than this.”

“A great property for a family with kids and beautiful lakefront access. Close proximity to town with great restaurants. Darryl was a fantastic host and extremely responsive to any questions we had during our stay.”

“The location of this lake house is truly amazing, very private and quiet, but close to town. The secure back deck was a bonus, since we had a one-year-old pup with us. She just loved hanging out on the deck with her people. The variety of boats was a wonderful treat for everyone, and there were plenty of life jackets if needed. The grandsons had fun fishing from boats and off the beautiful dock, where there were lots of chairs on which to relax. The bedding was so comfy, and they were all king-sized with plenty of room to stretch out. Wildlife was a big hit with the youngest grandson—a bald eagle, a pair of loons, a family of ducks, a family of geese, toads, pickerel frogs, and turtles. We also enjoyed picking fresh blueberries and eating them for breakfast. It was the perfect getaway for an 82-year-old lady and her beautiful family.”
