“We had a very good long weekend stay. The home is conveniently located to lots of things to do. The riverfront views were perfect while spending time at the home.”

“The house itself is generally okay. The pictures accurately reflect the space, which is good-sized and well-furnished. On the downside, the water flow is very low, especially in the shower, making it difficult to regulate the hot and cold water - challenging for showering. A more significant issue for me was snow management. Before booking, I confirmed with the host that snow shoveling would be handled by the owner, which was critical given the winter conditions. Upon arrival, the driveway was not plowed, and I had to do it myself just to get into the house. Snow continued nearly every day, including freezing rain. Despite multiple communications, the host only came late on Dec 31 to put down some sand. Essentially, I had to shovel almost daily during my stay, which was frustrating since I was on vacation and had been assured someone else would handle it. This seems to be a coordination issue between Brenton Woods (managing the property) and the owner (responsible for snow).”
