“This place has an incredible view with most rooms facing the view. When the temperature is in the eighties and it is sunny, the upstairs bedrooms register 90 degrees while the rest of the house is in the eighties. There were ants in the upstairs bathrooms and the main floor kitchen. Other than that, the place was great and we had a great time.”

“Our stay was in a nice area. It gets pretty warm upstairs. They do provide fans though. We didn’t have use of the tv in the home because the internet was not working because of the mountain/tree area. Lots of board games.”

“The home was pretty and updated with great amenities, including A/C and heating. My kids loved the board games! The Internet worked well and the smart TVs were nice. It was overall very comfortable and mostly clean, except the handles on the kitchen cabinets were sticky, the kitchen table was left unclean, and the carpets were quite stained. The front door sticks so it took some strength to open and close. The driveway is narrow, steep, and difficult to maneuver. The neighborhood was very cute and right on the lake! However, the beach access code provided did not work and the property manager was unable to address it after two days of back-and-forth communication. Eventually, our neighbors let us onto the beach. Unfortunately there were no chairs or umbrellas available for guest use. This was very disappointing because we did not bring our own. Despite this, we had fun building sand castles and swimming in the beautiful, clear waters of Lake Tahoe, without the crowd!”

“The home itself was in a great location, but the cleanliness and maintenance were unacceptable. The floors were dirty on arrival, with food crumbs, and I had to mop and vacuum myself. I found used band-aids, dirt, and hair in the bathroom. I reached out to the property manager multiple times and only received generic responses with no actual help. I ultimately had to contact Airbnb directly. I also booked this home specifically because it was listed as having air conditioning. However, the only unit was a small wall unit upstairs and it broke. The rest of the house had no air conditioning. Given the cleanliness issues, lack of responsiveness, and inaccurate representation, I can’t recommend this rental.”
