Avari in Zephyr Cove, Nevada

“We loved our stay at The Cove Cabin, which was recently renovated. Beautifully done! Great furnishings and amenities. We had a few minor issues; they sent repair guys to fix immediately. The home is beautiful and well designed. The wrap around porch was very nice. There is an EV charger! The beach access was very nice and private. There is a gate code to the beach, so ask management for it. Fortunately, we ran into a neighbor who gave us the code. It was just a short drive to Safeway and several restaurants. Make sure to make a reservation at Sand Harbor beach if you would like to go to there. It is very fun, but has limited parking, so a paid reservation is required. A few things to note: the driveway is narrow and then widens as you approach the house. It is a bit steep for a few feet and levels, so I would recommend an SUV with a little more clearance. A sedan will certainly scrape the bottom front of the car, as if you were going through a big dip. We would absolutely stay again!”

“Great place. Communicative host. Not lake facing, feels bit dated inside. Kitchen is not stocked despite host confirming it is. Very few cups and silver ware- asked couple of times but no response”

“We visited the property for a couple of days. While the location is perfect with private beach access to the lake, the property itself is not well maintained. 1. There were spider webs hanging from the ceiling around the house, especially the kitchen area. 2. The beds were very loud and squeeky and it was impossible to have a good sleep on them except for the master bed. 3. The instructions were unclear - No village entrance code was provided until we called. The parking instructions, house rules and other details were missing at the home. 4. The furniture is outdated and requires maintainance. 5. Bathroom doors did not lock properly (specially the one on 2nd floor). 6. The TV did not have any option or pre-provided smart features. Given the issues, we could have spent a lot lesser to get a lot better amenities.”

“House was in a beautiful location. Code from instructions to get inside was wrong. Had to wait for company to respond and send someone out to let us in. Floors were quite dirty but other than that, it was a well kept house.”

“We had a wonderful stay overall - this place truly stands out for its location and thoughtful design. The private pier was a highlight, and it’s perfect for families. The jacuzzi and spacious bathtubs (especially in the master bedroom) added a touch of luxury, and the kids’ games were a big plus for our little one. The peaceful beach walks were absolutely mesmerizing and made the experience even more special. There were a few minor hiccups at the start. Check-in could have been smoother - an earlier check-in by even an hour would have helped. Basic details like the gate entry code and Wi-Fi weren’t shared upfront and had to call / be found on a separate platform. Clearer communication would have improved the experience. That said, once settled in, everything was fantastic. We truly loved our stay and would gladly come back.”
