“We loved our stay here! We had a group of 8 people and it was more than enough room. The view is incredible and so is the location. We rented a boat and had it attached to the buoy and it was great - definitely rent a dinghy as well if you do this so you can get to and from the boat as you are not allowed to load on and off the dock. The house does not have AC but it gets cold at night and there are plenty of fans so we did not mind. Would recommend this place to others!”

“Beautiful, cozy home with INCREDIBLE VIEWS. Well-stocked kitchen. Very close to South Lake Tahoe. It was absolutely perfect for my Tahoe vacation with my family.”

“The place was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. A few things to note: The master bed was AMAZING. Literally so comfy. The lower bedroom with the bunk beds however wasn't so wonderful. Mattresses were hard and the bedding was lacking. Only a simple sheet set and a throw "style" blanket was the only blanket on both bunks. It was ok for teen boys, but this set up would not work for adults expecting a comfortable stay. I would suggest making these beds cozy like the master. That one is so dreamy! Next it was nearly impossible to locate the building and the right unit in the dark. I realize there was construction going on, but maybe update the listing to give better instructions on how to find the unit (walk across the bridge/walkway and go all the way to the right). Lastly, we could not locate the pool and spa ANYWHERE. We walked down the road and across the street. Didn't find it anywhere. We would have liked to use the spa, but we couldn't locate it. Other than that- WONDERFUL!”

“I tend to never really leave reviews but after paying this much for a stay and the house not even being clean was EXTREMELY disappointing. Many surfaces such as cabinets, dressers, and corners were unwiped and not clean. Bugs and spiders around the house ESPECIALLY moths when no doors when left open. The water fall features doesn’t work in the pool aswell as its water feature. Many doors in the house have broken locks aswell as the windows having broken turn handles. Yes the place has beautiful views but you would think with the price you’re paying, the simple small things such as cleanliness and modernness would be kept to a high standard. Even faucet handles were missing in the main bedroom and drains in the shower wouldn’t drain out water properly. This was an extremely unpleasant experience from the start, and when sending all pictures and videos to host as feedback, they offered a 5% refund as compensation… out of a $6200 stay. Will not be booking through Luxe again”
