“The property is in a beautiful setting and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately the cleanliness/maintenance were disappointing. The shower had extensive dark buildup around the floor and walls, with deteriorated caulking. The carpets, particularly on the spiral staircase, were heavily stained/appeared dirty. The washing machine had visible grime and buildup around the door and seal, and the outdoor furniture was very dirty. We encountered numerous spiders crawling around downstairs. We understand that insects are expected in a property surrounded by nature, but the number indoors was uncomfortable. Communication could have been better; when I asked the host whether we needed a parking pass, the response was simply the WiFi password. I don’t expect an older/rustic property to be pristine, and any one of these issues alone would not have prompted a negative review.; Taken together, however, the property felt inadequately cleaned and in need of a thorough deep cleaning/maintenance.”

“This place was perfect and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The only thing thing is that the downstairs rooms have a very strong musky smell, so if your sensitive to that, it's something to take note of. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would come back again.”

“There is a significant amount of work that needs to be done to upgrade the location. Several lights were out, outside furniture needs to be replaced. There was only one small fry pan and one small pot in the kitchen. Utensils could be upgraded and selection of cups and glasses could be reworked. There is great potential here”

“The place was as described, but we did not have any soap or enough cups to even drink coffee. We have to go make another trip to the grocery store for some towels and soaps, etc. place is cramped, but we were a big group. We were mainly there to sleep the beds weren’t comfortable sofa. Bed was metal sticking out so unusable AC was upstairs right at one of the bunkbeds so the person sleeping on the bunkbeds will get frozen and the people sleeping in the bedroom on the bottom floor get very hot. All instructions were given in our our website initially we don’t have access to simple instructions of closing and locking the door when you have to look up multiple artificial intelligence sites and the manufacturers website to figure out how to even close the door we had lots of valuables and it said it was auto closed, but it never closed.”
