“This property is not run directly by the owner. It is under a property management firm - It is an older home and there was an effort to update and make more hospitable, however many items within the home were broken, the home was not clean, and the fence in the back yard was completely down / damaged, of which the property management had no idea and offered a $100 refund for the inconvenience. Overall I was disappointed in this property and left early.”

“We asked to check-in an hour early and the host never got back to us. Expect slow response from this host, or in our case, no response. We also asked if we could check-out and hour late, they said they would try to get approval, but that extra hour would be $75 dollars, which is excessive. Every I've stayed and the two properties I host have a checkout time of 11am, the checkout time here is 10am. Pots and pans were dirty and required additional cleaning by us. Overall our stay was okay. Not great; not terrible. Room for improvement. House and location were nice.”

“Beautiful location, very quiet and clean. The biggest issue is that three of the beds - in the bunkbed room are for children. This home sleeps only 6 adults if willing to share (one room has a full-size bed) and less if not willing to share a bed. The house instructions are sparse, and directions to the beach on the lake terrible. The kitchen had a confusing setup and was missing items like tin foil and plastic wrap. The property management company is often slow to respond, and completely inflexible about early check-ins. The outdoor area had several dead plans in planters and wasn't as well maintained as the house. The house interior is lovely, very clean, and extremely comfortable beds with nice linens (other than the bunk room) and many spots for lounging. Very peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Excellent place if the bunks are occupied by children, and you have only 5-6 adults.”

“Is it a good value? Not really but Whitefish is expensive. We loved the location and all the restaurants and shops. The bagel company next door is amazing but it sells out fast. Instead of going to the fine dining we hit the local/dive bars and breweries. We walked past the VFW bar several times and finally went in. It had amazing tacos. We loved the music at the 38 food truck area. Highly recommend renting a motor boat at Apgar Village in the Park. If you do the mountain gondola be prepared for a 20-30 degrees drop in temperature. The Bonsai brewery was great. Our only issue was the air conditioning was out. They put some temporary window units in but not the same. We enjoyed our patio so much that we didn't use the rooftop. Also the companies check in and out is not flexible for any reason. Extremely rigid on house rules. We will definitely stay here again. The house has lots of space, well appointed and comfortable.”
