“The house was nice and fit the listing description, but there were many issues with our experience. To begin, our check-in was delayed because they were still cleaning the house. When we arrived, the trash was overflowing so much so that we could not add any of our trash to it throughout our stay. When we got settled in, we noticed multiple areas of the home that had mouse droppings that had not been cleaned up. We cleaned and sanitized the areas ourselves and had the host come seal a huge opening around the A/C unit where the rodents were clearly entering through. He did not take any further measures to clean areas with droppings or get rid of the problem. Each morning, we woke up to more mouse activity throughout the house, including droppings over the cleaned countertops and on our hand washed dishes. It was quite unacceptable and a major health concern. On top of everything, the dishwasher did not function throughout our stay.”
