“This is a beautiful and well-kept home. Terrific outdoor space with plenty of options for entertainment, relaxation, and even solitude if needed ; ) We appreciated that the grill was clean, had gas in the tank, and worked perfectly. The dock is in a very quiet cove, safe for kids to jump in and swim with very limited boat traffic. With a group of 14, we found the bed & bath layout to be ideal. Fans are available in every bedroom and beds were super comfy as well. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home! A couple of items to note: the listing states 12 beds but in fact there are 9 with 1 hideaway on upper floor in living room. And honestly the only perk to Margaritaville is proximity to the marina, restaurant & amenities. Don’t plan on using the gym or the pickleball courts, they are not available even for a fee.”

“Peaceful and beautiful house. Beds were very comfortable and slept great I expected bugs outside since we were on a lake but did not expect to find as many spiders and bugs as I did inside. Every morning when we woke up, we would walk through spiderwebs and if you look in every single corner, there’s a spider. And beware it has steep hills and if you have bad hips or knees, beware. My family and I had a wonderful time at the house, but would not stay again for the amount of money that we spent.”

“Issues. House needs a deep clean (cleaning that can not be done in between check out/in). There are also things that need fixed. Tiles fell into the shower off wall upstairs, LL shower drain broken, ripped chair out back, broken kayak seat, no railing to hold onto on your way down to the dock. Kitchen ceiling dirty, inside cabinets filthy, dirty pans, etc. Missing little things- Salt & Pepper, light bulbs in lamps, batteries for remotes, storage containers or zip-lock bags for food. Just taking a blower to the front porch and outdoor area would make this place look so much more appealing. Positive: Private Dock, number of bedrooms & bathrooms, washer/dryer worked great (detergent provided), patio furniture on deck upstairs was wonderful, location was excellent. LOZ was willing to send someone over to clean up what was missed and fix the shower but we did decline. We just did not use the shower in that restroom. This listing could be amazing and worth the money but it fell short.”

“Airbnb shut down the listing for a time and refunded a large portion after our thorough reporting. There is no argument against these facts. There were Airbnb safety and health violations. This is our report to Airbnb... • Health and Sanitation: We are dealing with mold growing on a wall in the HVAC room and significant cleanliness issues and we had to force the issue to get the HVAC filter replaced, as the host initially suggested we simply remove it—which would have created a significant health hazard. • Safety Hazards: There is a serious electrical hazard involving a hanging, exposed light switch that poses a legitimate risk of electric shock or injury. • Privacy and Security: We experienced an attempted unauthorized entry where an individual attempted to access our unit without notice. We were forced to personally intervene to prevent them from entering. These conditions represent a clear failure to provide the safe, sanitary, and private environment promised in the listing.”
