“The Sunset Beach House provided a comfortable and entertaining stay for my family. It was fun to be on the lake with the kayaks and SUPs. The house is very comfortable and good space for relaxation. We are out on the deck every night and used the hot tub multiple times as the sun was setting. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked. The only down side is that some of the equipment was not in the condition I would expect for the money paid per night. One of the SUPs was missing all fins and partially deflated. The other SUP was missing a fin. We could not get the hot tub to heat up past sleep mode, but could have been user error - though they provided detailed instructions which we followed. There are parts of the house that need a little TLC, just dated or worn. But that was minor & did not affect our enjoyment. I think it’s good to know though if you are expecting high end finishings. Overall, it was a great stay - a little overpriced IMO, but recommend.”

“My family had a good time here. The house was lovely, clean, and we enjoyed the hot tub and views of the lake and fireflies at night. We ended up not using the kayak/lake access because life jackets weren't included (we have kids) and there wasn't a swim beach. Because we have family in the area, we went there instead for lake time. After several days of their hospitality, we wanted to reciprocate and have these family members over for dinner, but when we asked the rental management company for permission, we did not receive timely or complete responses. After a couple days, we texted the owner directly who did respond quickly but stated that it would cost us extra. That was unfortunate because the house was already highly priced. While better communication and flexibility for responsible guests would have made our visit even better, we are glad that we stayed there and appreciate the many great things about this property.”
