“This cabin was perfect for our family of four. It is right on Lake Superior and was a beautiful place to stay for the week. The cabin feel Scandinavian and well-loved - it was cozy, comfortable, and clean. We loved having the windows open and hearing the lake in all her moods. The porch is great for morning coffee, reading, and relaxing.”

“Used this property as a home base for 5 days of North Shore explorations. Some things you can't tell from the photos - the home shares a long driveway with at least 2 other homes but there was plenty of foliage between - very secluded and we never heard or saw neighbors. Fridge water filter and undersink drinking water filter worked great, tap water was great, but filling the tub the water had a strong rust/iron color that was a turn off. Pictures don't capture the size. It is a massive space, oversize in some ways, with extra tall ceilings - you'll get your steps in getting from the kitchen to the dining table, for example. The size and unique ceilings also meant that we felt the lack of overhead lighting sometimes - the kitchen island light is several feet higher than optimal and there isn't much for lighting in the dining room, but that's the tradeoff for such a large space. The showers are also oddly small especially for taller folks! Overall though still a great, spacious, stay!”
