“True North was great with communication! Never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a response. had 12 family members on this vacation. Check in details clear and precise. The house is beautiful. Well stocked kitchen. Fire pit was great-you need to bring marshmallow sticks for s’mores. while they supply some bath/beach towels, theres not enough for more than 6 people (if you don’t want to do laundry everyday.) so bring some of your own. Definitely not a dealbreaker at all! Air conditioning worked great, water pressure is excellent. Mattresses pretty good. Very much enjoyed the kayaks, canoe and paddle board! Kids did not want to leave. Everyone agreed it went to fast! Highly recommend.”

“The house was lovely and private, and it was spotless, with plenty of essentials for a big group. The website mentioned a paved path from the house to the waterfront, but it didn’t say you’d have to cross over and down a 55 mph road. We had young kids, so we weren’t expecting that. The waterfront could use some TLC; there was a lot of brush that took away from the experience. The golf cart to get down to the water was fantastic, and Chris and the team brought kayaks, which we really appreciated. We booked through Airbnb, but since the house was managed by a company, communication through the app was a bit sparse. They mostly communicated via text, which I prefer to keep on Airbnb. All in all we had a great week on torch lake with family!”
