“It was an awesome location - only 15 from Traverse City. High Lake was so peaceful. We loved hearing the loons, fishing, kayaking and bonfires. Place could use a lot of aesthetic updating for the price but had everything we needed.”

“We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The location was really nice! The complimentary kayaks were great for morning trips out on the lake. I felt the cabin was cozy. I do advise there is two bedrooms but only 1 had a closing door. I also bring attention to the fact there are stains and some wear and tear to the flooring and furniture. This is an old rustic cabin so It didn’t bother us but for others it may. Over all I would stay again.”

“This is a wonderful place with a great location. It is close enough to town. But at the same time far enough away that you do not feel like you are in TC.”

“This place was nice for our stay. We did not spend a lot of time at the cabin and were mostly out and about during the day. I will say it is pretty rustic and aged. It did get warm sometimes as they did not have central air here but they did provide fans for the bedrooms which helped. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit for the evenings which was really nice.”
