“Great property. It’s tucked into the corner in a wooded area. Was private, quiet, and had awesome view of the sunset and lake from the deck. The beach is about a 7 min walk, not bad at all. Amenities were good - could use some more utensils for cooking. Sleeping arrangements were good for my family of 4, beds were pretty hard but we made do. Overall I think the pictures don’t do this place justice - it’s even better. Was a comfy space for a getaway. I would return if price was more reasonable.”

“The good: The house and sleeping arrangements are as described. The view of the lake from the back deck is serine and the nature around you is relaxing and beautiful. The not so good: The walk to the beach is MUCH more than 200 yards. My step tracker puts it a half mile and it is heck of a walk back up hill and through the neighborhood. We ran out of propane for the grill on the Friday we arrived and it took until Monday afternoon until someone finally got a spare delivered to us even though they said it would be there on Saturday morning. This affected our dinner plans for the weekend. There is also very limited items in the kitchen, no salt or pepper, few mismatched cooking utensils, few cups or glasses. You will need to bring all your own cooking items and paper products as you are only provided 1 roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper. It is the little items that separate a good stay from an amazing one. A few small touches would make this property amazing”

“High on a hill, with a glorious view of the lake at sunset, you'll find yourself a slice of heaven at this quiet getaway! The amenities and space are as described and were a delight for everyone from my 78-year-old father to my 3-year-old son. However, you likely won't notice as you'll spend your time reveling in the amazing deck space and its views. When you get up the energy, there are hiking trails within a stone's throw and a number of other awesome activities within a few minutes' drive. More likely, however, is that you'll find yourself drawn to the seemingly endless shoreline with amazing sand beaches, gently rolling waves, and spectacular dune views. In short, rent this place, come walk the shores of Lake Michigan, and leave any stressful parts of your life behind for as long as you can manage. My family and I will certainly be returning to this location as often as we can manage it!”
