Pictured Rocks Vacation Rentals in Michigan

“The apartment was clean and as pictured. A couple of things that I found different from other Airbnbs that I’ve stayed at. First they don’t provide any bathroom shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Not a deal breaker, but something to know ahead of time. Second, after you have booked through Airbnb they send you a text message with a contact to sign for the rental and they communicate all information through a link that you receive via text message. This I didn’t like and kind of felt shady. Third, check out time was 10 am not 11am. This was more an inconvenience, but worth noting.”

“The cabin was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and there were great amenities at the property that were not listed like a grill, a propane fire pit and board games!”

“This house is the perfect spot for anyone looking to get away from it all. The house was fully stocked with everything needed for a stay, and it is a short drive to Munising for groceries. We would recommend this house to anyone looking to visit the UP.”

“The cabin is beautifully crafted and in a gorgeous location. The night sky was incredible--Milky Way completely viewable with the naked eye! The only reason we're giving four stars is that my husband and nephews joined so they could fish together on the property. We even asked before booking whether there was direct lake access, and the rental company replied that there was a path down to the lake. However, once we arrived, we discovered that the only "access" to that lake requires trudging through about 2-300 yards of mud marsh (no path visible and we didn't bring waders). We chatted with a lovely lake homeowner on the other side, and they noted it's nearly impossible to access the water for fishing or kayaking from properties on the lake at any time of year without waders/mud trudging. Just an FYI for future potential guests who are drawn to the lake proximity for fishing. Otherwise, great space, responsive host, beautiful location. Waking up to that view was fantastic.”
