Pictured Rocks Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.72 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“We had a great stay. The place was very comfortable and was in an excellent location close to everything in Munising and in Pictured Rocks. We definitely recommend it!”airbnb

“We stayed here for 9 days, and honestly had an amazing time. My daughter loved it, my wife loved it, and I loved it. The location was perfect. We saw bald eagles, deer, turtles, and spent almost every day kayaking out to the sandbar, which became one of our favorite parts of the trip. It was only about 25 minutes from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Munising, plus roughly an hour from Marquette, so there was never a shortage of things to do. Being surrounded by Hiawatha National Forest made the whole experience even better. I would absolutely recommend staying here for anyone looking for a great Upper Peninsula getaway, and we would definitely come back again.”airbnb

“We had a great stay here over the weekend while attending a wedding in Munising. The Airbnb was simple, clean, and exactly as described in the listing and photos, which we really appreciated. The location was excellent and made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Overall, it was a comfortable, hassle-free stay and a great home base for the weekend. We’d definitely recommend it to others visiting Munising.”airbnb

“Very comfortable and clean. Located across the street from the bay and fishing dock & a short drive to Picture Rocks & dining. There is A/C for the second floor bedrooms, however the stairs are a steep & narrow climb. The second floor bathroom is only a toilet/sink/bathtub, no shower. The first floor does not have A/C so it did feel a bit stuffy when the humidity went up. Several fans were available and helped to cool things off. Overall, this was a great location for our visit and activities. We kept the windows closed and did not notice any noise from the nearby factory.”airbnb

“The property was great! We had 7 people, but the house easily could fit 10+. Everything was very clean, and the couches were nice and big, allowing for quality family time. Beds were very comfy and had 3 bathrooms so there were no shower / toilet conflicts. Also they had board / card games downstairs. The location was a very short drive from multiple hiking trails, downtown Munising and of course Lake Superior.”airbnb

“Beautiful inside and out. Had some struggles with the lighting, but certainly not a big deal. There was construction in the area and the detour wasn’t greatly marked, but again, not the fault of the property. Just be aware if you go this summer before the project is done and get there in the daylight. I would hate to try to find it with no cell service and pitch black!”airbnb

“We were very happy with our stay overall! The apartment was clean and welcoming when we arrived, and the location was great — close to food, drinks, and everything we needed. The stairs were a little steep, but manageable for us. The floors were fairly squeaky, which didn’t bother us much, though we did wonder if the people below could hear us walking around. The only major issue we had was with the shower water pressure. It would start out okay for a moment and then quickly turn into just a trickle, making it difficult to shower comfortably. Other than that, we really enjoyed the place and would absolutely stay again if the shower issue was resolved.”airbnb

“Place was nice, super clean house but the tap water smelt like rotten eggs. I told the host they said it was well water (which is fine) and that If you let it run the smell goes away (it didn’t). My thing is if you knew we were coming why not come by quickly and let it run yourself, make sure the smell goes away so it doesn’t smell terrible when we walk into the house after a long day to take a shower.”airbnb

“The house is nice, and in a central location for seeing Pictured Rocks, and the nearby ice formations. It is as pictured. The rooms are clean, but small. The house is nicely appointed. It is run by a management company, though, so you won't ever see or communicate with the owner, and you won't find the place shoveled out. You will need to sign an additional management company contract AFTER booking with Airbnb. Note that check-in and check-out times are 4 and 10, a bit more restrictive than most, and, in the guest book, they threaten a $30 per hour fee if you overstay, and another one if you don't get your garbage bag into the cans outside the (unshoveled) drive.”airbnb
